Notepad for macOS (“the app”) is designed to be private. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.

Summary

The app collects no data of any kind. It has no account system, makes no network connections, contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking, and sends nothing off your device.

What the app stores

• Your documents and editing session are stored only on your Mac. To restore your tabs after relaunch, the app saves your open documents (including unsaved text) inside its own sandbox container on your device. This data never leaves your Mac and is not accessible to the developer or any third party.
• The app accesses only the files you explicitly open or create, using the standard macOS security-scoped file permissions.

What the app does NOT do

• No data is collected, transmitted, or shared.
• No personal information is requested or stored.
• No third-party SDKs, analytics, advertising, or tracking are used.
• No network connection is made by the app.

Children’s privacy

Because the app collects no data, it complies with children’s privacy requirements by design.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “last updated” date.

Notepad for macOS(이하 “앱”)는 프라이버시를 우선하도록 설계되었습니다.

요약

앱은 어떤 종류의 데이터도 수집하지 않습니다. 계정 시스템이 없고, 네트워크에 연결하지 않으며, 분석·광고·추적이 전혀 없고, 기기 밖으로 아무것도 전송하지 않습니다.

앱이 저장하는 것

• 문서와 편집 세션은 오직 사용자의 Mac에만 저장됩니다. 재실행 후 탭 복원을 위해, 열려 있는 문서(저장하지 않은 텍스트 포함)를 기기 내 앱 샌드박스 컨테이너에 저장합니다. 이 데이터는 Mac을 벗어나지 않으며 개발자나 제3자가 접근할 수 없습니다.
• 앱은 macOS 표준 보안 스코프 파일 권한을 사용하여, 사용자가 직접 열거나 만든 파일에만 접근합니다.

앱이 하지 않는 것
